On the afternoon of December 8, Zhu Min, deputy secretary of Suzhou municipal Party committee, and his party came to the demonstration center for organic waste treatment and utilization around Taihu Lake (near the lake) for inspection and investigation. Wang Weiguo, director of publicity and United Front Work of Wuzhong District, accompanied the investigation, and Professor Li Ji, President of the Institute of organic recycling (Suzhou) of China Agricultural University, received the inspection.
After arriving at the demonstration center, Li Ji led Zhu Min and his party to visit the exhibition hall of the demonstration center and the waste equipment treatment workshop, introduced the industrial development of the Institute to Zhu Min in detail, and comprehensively introduced the environmental protection industry, national strategy, expert team, treatment equipment and foreign experience.
After visiting the demonstration center, Zhu Min said that he had known about the organic waste treatment and utilization project around Taihu Lake, and the achievements made by the research institute today are worthy of recognition. Zhu Min pointed out that in the future, we should speed up the work of equipment upgrading and cost control. At the same time, we should actively do a good demonstration, improve the corresponding standards as soon as possible, and speed up the promotion of the project to the whole country.
The third session of the 13th National People's Congress voted to approve the 2020 national economic and social development plan, which clearly proposed to promote the construction of urban and rural organic waste treatment and utilization demonstration areas around Taihu Lake. The Linhu demonstration center displayed the latest technologies and complete sets of equipment for the treatment and utilization of organic waste. The project not only realizes the "zero" waste of organic wastes near the lake, but also does not go out of the town and into the river, so as to achieve resource recovery and reduce environmental pollution; In addition, the reduction of chemical fertilizer has been realized, which supports the production of ecological agricultural products. It will build a model of urban-rural organic cycle and green development, produce a good leading effect, and make a positive contribution to green water and green mountains, that is, Jinshan and Yinshan.
