In August 2020, the "leading group office for promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta" issued document No. 9 notice on printing and distributing the construction plan of urban and rural organic waste treatment and utilization demonstration area around Taihu Lake. ***
In response to the call of the general secretary, Wuzhong District will build a high-quality urban and rural organic waste treatment and utilization demonstration area around Taihu Lake. Adhere to harmless treatment, resource utilization and market-oriented operation, explore and establish the "Wuzhong model" of closed-loop operation, treatment and utilization of urban and rural organic waste according to local conditions, strive to provide reference for the joint protection and treatment of ecological environment in the Yangtze River Delta, and make a demonstration for the treatment and utilization of organic waste in the country. Wuzhong District Party committee and district government have held special meetings for many times to coordinate the construction of organic waste treatment and utilization demonstration projects around Taihu Lake, promote relevant support policies and implement the project.
Li Ye, deputy head of Wuzhong District, and his party learned about the transformation of scientific research achievements, treatment capacity and the application and promotion of resource-based organic fertilizer products of the demonstration center near the lake in detail, and inspected the engineering and technical equipment for the treatment and utilization of urban and rural organic waste around Taihu Lake. Then immediately go to Dongshan Demonstration Center for visit and guidance.
Li Ye mentioned that we should promote the use of organic fertilizers, promote the reduction of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, investigate the green prevention and control product technology of crops, and support and promote the resource utilization of organic wastes such as aquatic plants, cyanobacteria, reeds, crops and forest fruit wastes. Put forward requirements for high-quality agricultural development.
Dongshan demonstration site
The urban and rural organic waste treatment and utilization demonstration project in Dongshan Town, Wuzhong District will reach 70 tons / day. The annual output of organic fertilizer is about 5000 tons. The plant is located in the original plant area of dongshandukou Industrial Park, covering an area of about 3300m2. The project construction plan has a feeding area, pretreatment, intelligent aerobic fermentation, deodorization room, liquid fertilizer production, deep processing of organic fertilizer, planting and greening visit area, etc. At present, the construction has been fully completed and will be put into operation.
