The first kitchen waste treatment plant in Yongfeng county was completed on May 1 and began commissioning and operation with equipment.
The plant includes two systems: collection, transportation and treatment. Food waste is collected and transported by fully enclosed food waste collection and transportation vehicles, and then composted by aerobic microorganisms through high-temperature aerobic composting technology. It is estimated that the annual output of organic fertilizer is 100 tons and oil is 47 tons.
BOT operation mode is adopted for construction, and the construction investment is about 10 million yuan. The project is constructed in two phases, with a daily treatment capacity of 20 tons of kitchen waste in phase I and 10 tons in phase II. The process of "pretreatment + high temperature aerobic composting" is adopted. Composting treatment turns organic matter into organic fertilizer or soil conditioner, and oil-water separation converts kitchen waste into oil with economic benefits, so as to turn waste into treasure.
